OPTIFUEL PROGRAMME: TRAINING YOUR INSTRUCTORS, EXEMPLARY DRIVERS AND FLEET MANAGERS

A comprehensive 3 day package bringing together training in rational driving for instructors and fleet managers. The programme also features theoretical and practical training in Optifuel Infomax (at the end of the session). This focuses on how driving style can   sustainably reduce fuel consumption.

OPTIFUEL TRAINING: IMPROVING YOUR DRIVERS' SKILLS IN RATIONAL DRIVING

This one-day training allows drivers to understand rational driving by mastering commercial vehicle technologies followed by implementation in real situations with the aim of reducing fuel consumption. A first half-day for mastering the various technologies:

• Understand the kinetic chain and fully master the controls…
• Parameters influencing fuel consumption.
• The key messages of rational behaviour.

  A second half-day for mastering the various technologies:

• Driving with a fully loaded rig in a real-life situation. 
• Application of rational driving (higher speeds, anticipation, gear changes, etc.).
